About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Supervisor to join our team at Emcor UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for delivering a professional and efficient service to our management team in the delivery of maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Task Delivery: Deliver maintenance activities through effective organisation, planning and communication, agreeing what resources will be required and ensuring that the staff members are fully competent and trained to undertake tasks in a safe and timely fashion and in line with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor the progress of maintenance tasks, ensuring that works are completed according to your agreed plan of work and to the satisfaction of the customer and regulatory authorities.
  • Safety Performance: In conjunction with the HSE&Q team, regularly monitor the safety performance of all service aspects, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Safe Systems of Work: Ensure that all Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments have been read and understood by you and your team and that they are appropriate for the task in hand.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates to EMCOR Management team and the contract, and maintain daily contact with the customer and attend meetings as necessary.
  • Sub-contractor Management: Supervise, co-ordinate and/or manage Specialist Sub-contractors as required.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACS gas and OFTEC qualifications elements: CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, HTR1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TCPC1.
  • Experience: NVQ or equivalent gas or plumbing qualification (Level 3 NVQ in Domestic Natural Gas Installation and Maintenance), Domestic / Commercial Gas - Oil and LPG experience a plus, Gas catering or refrigeration experience as a plus, or willing to be upskilled, Experience on a range of commercial boiler plant and domestic boilers in commercial settings.
