IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Specialist to join our team at ITS Resourcing. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st- 3rd line technical support to clients via telephone, remote support, and on-site visits
• Take end-to-end ownership of problems from logging through to resolution
• Be proactive when dealing with user issues, keeping clients updated on the status of their support query
• Support and maintain all levels of appropriate documentation
• New IT builds for customers across a wide range of technologies, including the installation of these on customer sites
• Work with other engineers and management to deliver customer projects and complex tickets
• Travel to customer sites, completing routine check-ups and escalation support within a 50-mile radius of the offices

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Active Directory
• Administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365
• Exposure to Microsoft-based server operating systems with an emphasis on Windows Server 2012, 2016 & 2019
• Virtualization – VMWare/Hyper-V
• Understanding of Firewalls & Routers

Benefits:

• Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:00 pm.

• Must have your own vehicle for site work – 45p per mile paid for business mileage
• Starting salary of up to £37,000 per annum
