We are partnering with a leading provider of children's services to offer a permanent opportunity for a Senior Residential Children's Worker in Hertford, Hertfordshire.
This role involves working as part of a team to provide support to children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) within a children's home.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive employer with genuine opportunities for career progression.
The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week, plus 6 sleep ins per month.
While previous experience as a senior is not essential, the ideal candidate will hold a Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.

Alongside a competitive hourly rate of £18.10, plus £40 per sleep in, our client offers a range of benefits, including:

As a Senior Residential Children's Worker, your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Attend staff meetings and supervisions
- Be accountable for decisions regarding the welfare of children and staff members during shifts
- Discuss staffing matters with the Manager
- Ensure staff members are kept up to date with changes to procedures
- Provide support using a person-centred approach
- Safeguard vulnerable children and report any suspicion or evidence of harm
- Commit to continuous professional development
- Cover other homes when required
- Liaise with parents and/or carers and other professionals
