About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Sanctuary Students. As a key member of our accommodation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services to our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional cleaning services to bedrooms, kitchens, pathways, and communal areas
  • Identify and report any hazards and faults to ensure a safe environment is maintained
  • Organise stores on site and carry out checks of equipment, replacing when necessary
  • Perform other general tasks as required by management

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping
  • Practical experience in operating cleaning machinery
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workloads, and work on own initiative
  • Experience of understanding simple verbal and written instructions and undertaking duties as requested
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
