Job Summary:

Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our client, a well-established regional law firm in West London. As an Employment Solicitor, you will be responsible for advising clients on a broad range of employment law issues, including contracts, dismissals, redundancy, and discrimination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise Clients on Employment Law Matters: Assist clients in navigating employment law issues, including contracts, dismissals, redundancy, and discrimination.
  • Draft Legal Documents: Prepare and draft legal documents, such as employment contracts, settlement agreements, and policies.
  • Conduct Legal Research: Conduct thorough research to support senior solicitors in complex cases.
  • Prepare for Employment Tribunal Hearings: Assist in preparing cases for Employment Tribunal hearings.
  • Liaise with Clients and Third Parties: Communicate effectively with clients, counsel, and other third parties as required.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Employment Law: Maintain knowledge of changes in employment law and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Solicitor with around 2 years experience in employment law.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork and Organisation: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proactivity and Client Service: Proactive, with a commitment to providing high-quality client service.
