Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Athletic Rehabilitation Specialist to provide exceptional services to teams and athletes within a high-performance sports support framework.

The primary responsibility of the Athletic Rehabilitation Specialist will be to design, implement, and manage sports injury and rehabilitation services, ensuring top-notch support for students, staff, and local community members.

This role emphasizes service delivery, which includes clinic operations, individual consultations, and assisting student athletes with their rehabilitation needs through both clinic sessions and their technical and strength & conditioning programs.

Flexibility in working hours is essential, as the position may require evening, early morning, or other non-standard hours.

In addition to direct service delivery, responsibilities will encompass planning and reviewing clinic schedules, promoting available services, recruiting and retaining qualified consultant practitioners, managing booking processes and payments, and liaising with partner organizations, along with other administrative duties related to the operation of our sports injury and rehabilitation services.

Collaboration with other members of the sports services team and specialists from various areas of sports science will be integral to providing a comprehensive athletic development service to the university's student teams and athletes.

As part of the sports federation team, you will deliver the highest quality of service to selected university sports teams and individual students through a specialized performance support scheme, which includes strength and conditioning, sports psychology, nutrition, subsidized physiotherapy, and lifestyle support, with additional administrative assistance from the broader sports federation team.
