Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Longdon Park School, part of Options Autism. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behavior primarily with a diagnosis of ASD.
Our school provides a therapeutic, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where our young people learn to accept responsibility for their actions, make positive decisions, and display pro-social behavior. We are committed to raising achievement and enabling pupils to recognize their potential and supporting them through a personalized, engaging curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Support the teacher in preparing learning materials and running classroom activities
- Assist with the emotional and physical needs of pupils, promoting their development as individuals and engagement with the world
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- English & Maths Level 2 Pass or GCSE C/Grade 4 and above
- Full UK Driving License
