Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Import Specialist to join our team at Right Now Recruitment. As a Junior Import Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Air Import operations team in managing the transportation of freight via air.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination of air import shipments from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Support key accounts and assist with general freight shipments, providing exceptional customer service and communication.
  • Prepare and verify billing invoices, ensuring accurate billing information for import services provided to customers.
  • Assist in the customs clearance process, verifying compliance with import regulations and providing accurate information.
  • Correspond with airlines, customs officials, freight forwarders, and other parties involved in the import process to coordinate shipments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in import/export operations or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
