Job Title: Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at HEIDI WRIGHT RECRUITMENT LIMITED. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations and driving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide weekly P&L forecasts to the finance and operational teams
  • Prepare accurate management accounts on a monthly basis
  • Report on daily order intake and invoice levels
  • Ensure all results and forecasts are accurately represented in the Group reporting systems
  • Agree and reconcile intercompany balances each month
  • Perform periodic balance sheet reconciliations to ensure robust balances for a clean audit
  • Provide insightful and value-added information to drive business performance and exceed targets
  • Prepare the annual budget, liaising with relevant managers to ensure buy-in
  • Ensure robust stock values and provisions, and forecast to minimize slow-moving stock
  • Coordinate biannual stock takes and ensure current stock is reflected on SAP
  • Lead Capex and monthly spend reviews
  • Review Capital Investment Appraisals and forecast capital expenditure spend
  • Ensure products are costed accurately and updated in SAP
  • Ensure financial compliance and governance, review procedures, and make improvements
  • Look at new ways to automate and simplify processes
  • Lead contact person for external audit and query resolution
  • Support, develop, and train budget holders with their financial understanding
  • Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with senior managers and their teams as the go-to person for financial matters
  • Cover the Financial Controller's duties when they are absent from the business
Requirements:
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent Part or fully Qualified or Qualified By Experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team, under pressure, and to tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to plan ahead and prioritize key tasks
  • Advanced Excel skills, able to set up new reports
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
  • Understanding procedures in the finance department
  • Experience of manufacturing desirable but not essential
  • Experience of ERP systems desirable but not essential
Benefits:
  • Salary range up to £55,000
