Job Title: Quantitative Researcher
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our team in London, focusing on systematic short-term macro strategies in futures and currency markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quantitative models for trading signals in futures and FX markets.
- Collaborate with the trading group to design and optimize portfolio construction, risk management, and market access.
- Stay up-to-date with state-of-the-art technologies and tools, including technical libraries, computing environments, and alternative datasets.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of our proprietary research platform.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related STEM field.
- PhD research experience or publication in a related field is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- 2+ years of experience in a quantitative research position.
Preferred Skills:
- Highly skilled in Python, Matlab, or R.
- Experience in exploring and working with large and diverse data sets.
- Macro markets experience, including Equity indices, Currencies, Commodities, and Fixed Income.
