About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. You will supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working alongside the Deputy General Manager to ensure the best possible care outcomes. Your role will also involve supporting the clinical team in specific areas, such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to providing individualised care and support to our residents. You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, as well as specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. You will have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, and many of our Senior Care Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles.
