About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor to join our team at North Hertfordshire College. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our learners succeed and supporting company growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality training across the full Apprenticeship standard, ensuring learners meet their goals.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of programmes within work-based learning qualifications that form Apprenticeships.
  • Assess competence on site, if agreed, and review learner progress while on programme.
  • Deliver training to at least 1/2 day per week, as well as provide support for other Tutors as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be a qualified Electrician with 18th Edition and AM2.
  • Relevant occupational competence through qualifications and/or job experience are essential.
  • GCSE A*-C or equivalent in maths and English.
  • Assessment and verification qualifications are desirable.
  • Hold vocational assessors award – TAQA.
