Job Summary:

The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance and Operations Business Partner to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our central team, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial processes, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Meet month and year-end deadlines for submitting fully considered and robust budgets to the Trust's financial authorities.
  • Value for Money: Identify opportunities to improve value for money in schools and central processes, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely financial returns to the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
  • Accounts and Audit: Submit accounts on deadline with a clean audit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management: Successfully complete assigned projects, demonstrating strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide successful feedback from key stakeholders, including Principals, School Business Managers, Finance Managers, and Trust Directors.
  • Job Requirements: Meet all relevant job description requirements, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial operations and business partner principles.

  • Project Management: Proven project management skills, with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
