We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at a multinational manufacturing business in Somerset. Reporting to the HR Director EMEA and with a dotted line into the UK Site Director, this role will be responsible for supporting a headcount of 60 at this site and a further c.40 within sales and marketing based across Scandinavia.
This is an exciting time to join the organisation as they are looking to grow, revolutionise HR and empower their people to contribute to overall business objectives. As the main point of contact for all HR advice and guidance, the position has broad HR generalist responsibilities including:
- Providing HR advice and guidance to employees and management
- End-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- HR administration across the entire employee life cycle
- Employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Performance management and training and development
- HR data and reports for senior leadership teams, including compliance
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a solid work history of operating as a hands-on HR generalist within a fast-paced environment. Site HR experience is highly desirable, particularly within a manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain, engineering or similar blue and white collar workforce.
You will be confident in dealing with HR advice and guidance, employee relations, recruitment, training and development, and have the ability to provide HR data and reports to senior leadership teams.
