About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver care in line with the child's Education, Health and Care plan (EHC plan)
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to children with complex care needs
- Administer medications and perform tracheostomy care, gastrostomy care, and other complex care procedures
- Work independently to ensure the child's safety and well-being
Requirements
- Experience working in a complex care setting
- Experience in moving and handling
- Experience in tracheostomy & gastrostomy care
- Experience of looking after a ventilated child
