About The Role

Cornerstone Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at South Africa Lodge. Our 99-bedded service provides high-quality care across 6 specialized units, supporting residents with complex needs and mental health challenges. Our approach focuses on individualized care, considering the whole person and their unique challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and evaluate care needs or the provision of care
  • Participate in clinical meetings and report areas of concern to managers
  • Oversee care provided by Healthcare Assistants on shift, ensuring relevant documentation is maintained

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the UK with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable)
  • Experience working with adults presenting with complex needs, including challenging behaviors and mental health needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, forming positive relationships with colleagues, residents, and families
  • A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

About Us

Cornerstone Healthcare Group provides specialist care for vulnerable individuals with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs. Our residents primarily have a neurological degenerative condition, such as Dementia, with an underlying mental health condition. We currently have 4 homes and are expanding our services to meet the growing demand for our care.
