**Job Title:** Lifting Operative
**Job Summary:** Morson Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled professional to work on-site in a maritime environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting lifting equipment to ensure its fitness for use and will have experience in the general use of lifting equipment and tools related to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect lifting equipment to ensure its fit for use
- Use chain blocks and fleeting techniques
- Operate fixed gantry (overhead traveller) cranes, spreader bars, plate clamps, and chain blocks
- Read and interpret lifting instructions
- Complete work to time, cost, and quality parameters
- Work in a team environment to achieve project goals
Requirements:
- Valid slinging qualification (CPCS/NPORS/NVQ)
- Experience of heavy complex lifting operations
- Ability to obtain full SC security clearance
- 12 month contract
- 35 standard hours a week, with shift and overtime possibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Morson Talent in a maritime environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of lifting equipment.
