  • Develop and maintain the Contracting Authority's Data Strategy in line with UK GDPR and the DPA.

  • Chair/attend Data Governance forums and working groups to ensure clear accountabilities and audit trails.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in line with the Department's Data Governance Framework and industry best practice.
  • Produce effective communications and publicity materials to inform and gain 'Buy in' across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues.
  • Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management/security practices.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills to translate, promote, and embed a Data Governance Framework.
