Job Title: Parts Advisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team at TOTAL TECHNOLOGY (ENGINEERING) LIMITED in Derby. As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their trailer and towbar needs, processing daily cash paperwork, and monitoring stock movements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily cash paperwork and prepare banking, including petty cash.
- Monitor stock movements and deliveries, and raise invoices/credit notes accurately.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
- Actively sell and promote all trailers/parts/etc to customers.
- Serve customers at the counter, off-site, or over the telephone.
- Advise and take orders for trailer hire/towbar fitting and liaise with the workshop team.
- Be trained and drive a Fork Lift Truck if required.
Requirements:
- Previous motor trade experience.
- At least 12 months experience in a customer-facing role, such as a trade counter, parts advisor, or service desk.
- Able to work to sales targets.
- Full driving license is essential.
