Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Marshlands School and other local schools in Stafford. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our busy kitchen and serving areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality meals for our school team and pupils.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and serving environment.
  • Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
  • Adhere to food handling and hygiene regulations.
  • Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Uphold the reputation of Sodexo and our clients.

Requirements:

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.

  • £ per hour.
  • hours per week.
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday.
  • Term Time only week Working Contract paid over 52 weeks.

Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks.
