We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Operative to join our team at our well-established family client in Grimethorpe, Barnsley. As a General Operative, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packing foam kits with precision and efficiency
  • Lifting and moving foam products with care
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure high standards
  • Working on a gluing line to assemble products
  • Performing general warehouse duties as required
  • Opportunity to be trained on machines to enhance skills

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a distribution environment
  • Excellent timekeeping and organizational skills
  • Ability to work to targets and meet deadlines
  • A full driving license is required for this position, as you may be required to move stock between locations
