About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bus Driver to join our team at Transport UK London. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers across London, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a London Bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring passengers are comfortable and safe during their journey.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Work collaboratively with other drivers and transport staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve driving skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Hold a valid UK driving license (category B) with at least 6 months experience driving in the UK.
- Have an excellent driving history, with no more than six penalty points and no drink driving offenses in the last five years.
- Be able to use a computer and have basic IT skills.
- Be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
- Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn and develop your skills.
