Staffing Match is excited to collaborate with our esteemed client in Stoke on Trent, seeking skilled HGV drivers to join their team. Opportunities for both day and night shifts are available, covering Monday to Friday.

Shift Patterns and Compensation for Class 1 HGV Operators:

  • Day shifts - flexible start times
  • Hourly rate: £15.74
  • Night shifts - flexible start times
  • Hourly rate: £15.74 plus a 25% uplift for night shifts

Your Role as a Class 1 HGV Operator:

  • Complete 2-3 deliveries as required
  • Handle curtain side deliveries of large plant components to various locations
  • Accurate completion of necessary paperwork

Class 1 HGV Operator - Ideal Candidate:

  • Possess a valid HGV 1 C+E licence, along with a digital tachograph and Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
  • At least 12 months of driving experience
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence; no DR, DD, CD, or IN10 endorsements
  • Ability to successfully pass both theory and practical driving assessments
