Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst

Position: Cyber Threat Analyst
M&G plc is on the lookout for a Cyber Threat Analyst to enhance our Security Operations division. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments within the organization to fortify our security framework.
- Engage in the development and evaluation of use cases to refine analytical protocols
- Manage incident response tasks, including the mitigation of indicators of compromise (IOCs) and alerting relevant stakeholders
- Work alongside both internal and external teams to analyze security alerts
- Serve as a key escalation point for the monitoring team when required
- Recommend enhancements to improve the overall security framework
- Effectively communicate intricate issues and resolutions to essential stakeholders
- Follow established procedures and assist in the creation of new processes as necessary
- Support audit processes and participate in technical discussions as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in Security Operations is essential
- Understanding of Cyber Incident Response protocols
- Proficiency in Endpoint Detection and Response technologies
- Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel and Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS)
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
- Experience in the financial services industry is preferred
Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+, ISC2 SSCP, or equivalent certifications
- Microsoft certifications such as SC200, AZ500
