Job Overview
Position: Culinary Support Staff
Work Hours: 10 hours per week, during school terms, permanent position
Salary: £5 - £6 per annum, including Distant Islands Allowance
The individual in this role will be responsible for various kitchen tasks within educational facilities. Responsibilities include: preparing meals, engaging in basic cooking, and serving food, snacks, and beverages; managing cash transactions, operating the cash register, and completing necessary documentation; ensuring compliance with current Food Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations, as well as adhering to the Food Safety Policy of the organization.
Working hours are scheduled from Monday to Thursday, 11am to 1.30pm.
Previous experience in a comparable role is essential, and possessing a current Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred.
This position requires membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for regulated work involving children.
The salary for this position includes the Distant Islands Allowance, and the appointment will be made at the initial point of the pay scale.
