Job Summary

Advance TRS is seeking a skilled and experienced Signalling Functional Tester to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of signalling schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake thorough testing and delivery of component parts of the signalling scheme to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure a safe system of work is maintained, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Control the daily work in line with the testing & commissioning plan, WP and Task Briefings, to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Ensure safe delivery of the testing for component parts of a signalling scheme, minimizing risks and ensuring quality.
  • Ensure that work is completed in compliance with the contract and group standard, meeting all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain Verification/functional testers license, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Essential Requirements:
  • Hold a valid Functional Testers license, demonstrating expertise in signalling systems.
  • Knowledge of planning and risk assessment processes, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Hold a valid PTS ac/dc Certificate, showcasing proficiency in electrical engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of HSE requirements, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
Desirable:
  • ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, demonstrating a strong foundation in electrical principles.
  • Associate member of IRSE, showcasing commitment to industry standards and best practices.
  • Mod 1 License, indicating expertise in signalling systems and control.
