About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our Catering team as a Kitchen Porter. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the cleaning and operation of the kitchen, ensuring that all of the school's hygiene and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and its equipment
  • Support the catering team with food preparation and service
  • Unload and store heavy food deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
