About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Garment Technologist to join our team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our garment production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise between production and development teams to communicate technical requirements and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Product Specification creation using Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
• Create product Bills of Materials (BoMs), routings, and costings.
• Conduct sewing line configuration to optimize production efficiency.
• Define sample requirements for production orders with sub-contractors and create garment markers.

Requirements

• Previous experience within industrial sewing lines, with a strong understanding of garment production processes.
• Proficiency in pattern cutting and sewing line configuration.
• Experience conducting time studies for garment production processes.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new products and processes.
• Intermediate level Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies to drive efficiency and quality improvements.
• Experience with garment CAD packages.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for managing production processes.
• Background working with specialist technical clothing.

Education and Experience

• BA Fashion Design or Fashion Technology.
• 5 years proven experience within garment manufacturing or garment design.
