Job Title: Site Manager - Water

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the timely delivery of construction activities for our client, a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating in the water industry. The successful candidate will manage a team of site construction staff to deliver projects within approved budgets and timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage site construction teams to deliver projects within approved budgets and timeframes.
  2. Responsible for the performance of tier 2 suppliers in relation to Safety, Time, and Quality.
  3. Take the lead in Constructability Reviews, Project Rehearsal, and Fit for Assembly sign-off.
  4. Drive a focus on zero waste and reducing embodied carbon within construction activities.
  5. Ensure site teams raise contractual and commercial notices to the project team in a timely manner.
  6. Work with the Lead Construction Manager to establish long-term and short-term resource needs.
  7. Adopt and maintain cost-conscious management through efficient use of resources.
  8. Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed, and updated.

Requirements:

  1. Experience of managing operational resources in a fast-paced water industry environment.
  2. Recognised Civil or Construction Management Qualifications.
  3. Site Management Safety Training Scheme.
  4. Health, Safety, and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate).
  5. CSCS Card (Black minimum).
