Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Data Management Specialist. This role will involve working closely with clerical staff, clinicians, senior management, and patients to ensure the smooth operation of our outpatient department.

The successful candidate will have experience in customer service and administration duties, as well as proficiency in the use of IT and computer skills. They will also have knowledge of outpatient and waiting list targets, systems, and procedures, as well as experience of workforce processes including recruitment, appraisal, disciplinary procedures, and managing attendance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the outpatient department, including managing patient tracking lists and ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Work closely with clerical staff and clinicians to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
  • Assist with the recruitment, appraisal, and disciplinary procedures for staff within the department.
  • Manage attendance and absence records for staff within the department.
Requirements
  • Educated to diploma level or equivalent qualification/experience/knowledge.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service/Management of Administration or equivalent knowledge base.
  • Experience in customer service and administration duties.
  • Experience in the use of IT/computer skills.
  • Experience of working in the NHS and/or dealing with a range of different people.
Working Arrangements
