Our Ambitious Plans for Growth

Owing to continued demand and our ambitious plans for growth, Turner & Townsend Group are looking to recruit Estimators and Senior Estimators with proven experience across the Infrastructure (Rail, Airports, Highways, Power, Water, or Utilities) sector.

Estimating Role

As a Cost Estimator at Turner & Townsend Group, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Controlling and managing the estimating process at project level;
  • Producing estimates without management or supervision;
  • Supporting the development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend Group;

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Estimate production (from Order of Magnitude estimates through to detailed estimates built up from first principles)
  • Estimating support to major programme setup

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience
  • Relevant successful experience of provision of estimating and/or QS services in a large project environment;
  • Previous experience of working with estimating software packages;
