About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Cleaner to join our team at Elite Cleaning. As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various areas within school properties, including toilets, classrooms, offices, and corridors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the school, including floors, surfaces, and fixtures
  • Empty bins and replenish consumables in toilet areas
  • Sanitise touch points and high-traffic areas
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals
  • Take responsibility for your own areas and maintain a high level of cleanliness
Requirements
  • Ability to take instructions and work under your own initiative
  • Close attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS check and proof of right to work in the UK
About Us

Elite Cleaning is a professional family-run business with a dedicated team of cleaning operatives. We have been trading successfully throughout Devon since 1982 and are experts at contract cleaning for a wide variety of businesses and organisations.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £11.75 per hour, paid weekly, and a permanent, part-time role working between 10 to 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5pm start - during term time only.
