Dr. Oetker UK is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our state-of-the-art production facility in Leyland. As a key member of our Engineering Maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold high standards in Health and Safety, Food Safety, and GMP to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Provide a proactive and reactive professional engineering service to maintain and improve the performance of the plant.
  • Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Assist with root cause analysis to promote future reliability and improvements.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education to HNC or equivalent and apprenticeship time-served Engineer.
  • At least 2 years of post-apprenticeship engineering maintenance experience, preferably in an FMCG hygienic production environment.
  • Technologically savvy to enable full use of CMMS systems and MS Office.
