Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled PowerApps Developer to join our client's team, a prominent organization within the District of Columbia Government. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects focused on contract management, licensing, and hardware solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement robust PowerApps solutions using both model-driven and canvas app methodologies.
  • Modernize existing legacy applications by leveraging the capabilities of the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Seamlessly integrate Power Platform applications with third-party systems through Microsoft Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Dataverse APIs.
  • Create insightful reports and dashboards in Power BI, ensuring they are effectively integrated into PowerApps for enhanced user experience.
  • Establish and maintain a robust DevOps process, encompassing build, test, and release pipelines to ensure efficient application development and deployment.
  • Champion the secure design, development, and management of solutions within the Power Platform environment.

Qualifications

  • Possess 5+ years of experience in software development or data analysis, demonstrating a strong understanding of software engineering principles.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies, MS Power Platform, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in PowerApps configuration, customization, and client-side scripting to build interactive and user-friendly applications.
  • Possess advanced expertise in Transact-SQL and MS SQL Server Management Studio for efficient data management and manipulation.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, ensuring clear and concise documentation of technical solutions.
  • Be a self-motivated individual with meticulous attention to detail, committed to delivering high-quality work products.
  • Have experience working within an agile/scrum methodology, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
