Role Summary:

As a key member of the DX team, you will be responsible for transporting goods to and from customers' premises and our central hubs, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining a safe and efficient on-road experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all legal requirements and company policies.
  • Manage on-road routes to achieve time-sensitive deliveries, while ensuring compliance with driver's hours and WTD legislation.
  • Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and report defects correctly.
  • Comply with on-site health and safety requirements and adhere to company protocols.
  • Exercise discretion when diverting cross-country to and from the hub, taking into account signs, traffic, and other conditions.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence.
  • Have no more than 6 points on your licence and no DD/DR Code convictions.
  • Hold a current, valid DCPC Card.
