About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Worker to join our team. As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our young people, helping them to recover from trauma and build a positive future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young people, including daily living tasks and emotional support
  • Work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and nurturing environment
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, 39 or 45 hour contracts, and a range of benefits, including:

  • Salary: £28,660.32 to £33, inclusive of basic salary plus 2 sleep-ins per week
  • 28 days holiday entitlement (inclusive of Bank Holidays), increasing to 30 days after 3 years of service
  • Solid career progression, with recognized qualifications, up to and including master's level, funded by the company

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent recognized qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A calm and patient demeanor, with the ability to work with young people who may have experienced trauma
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support, with a focus on promoting the well-being and independence of our young people
