About the Role

Bombardier's Biggin Hill Service Centre is a leading maintenance facility in Europe, and we're seeking a highly skilled B1 Licensed Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of aircraft maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Bombardier's Maintenance Organization Procedures and relevant regulations.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
  • Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations.
  • Train, coach, and support other employees.
  • Respond to customer queries and requests.
  • Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems.
  • Supervise Mechanics when carrying out maintenance tasks.
  • Release line maintenance tasks that are performed by yourself or under your supervision.
  • Perform maintenance at off-site locations and be responsible for day-to-day station admin requirements.
  • Assist with providing time and cost estimates.

Requirements

  • EASA/CAA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License: B1, B2, and C.
  • Additional Business Jet Line Maintenance experience within the last 3 to 5 years.
  • Experience with working on Bombardier Business Jet aircraft types (Challenger, Global, Learjet).
  • Demonstrated ability to train other employees.
  • Part-147 approved type training on your license and held the approval for at least 2 years.
  • Engine run qualified – preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Appendix I to Part-66.
  • Good knowledge of Part-M, Part-145, and any other relevant regulations.
  • At least 6 months of relevant aircraft or maintenance experience in any consecutive 2-year period.
  • Knowledge of human factors, human performance, and limitations.
  • Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL when relevant.
  • Current on all training requirements (recurrent/continuation training).
  • Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual task and/or aircraft status.
  • Ability to use information systems (computer skills).
