We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to a young lady with profound disabilities.
About the Role:- Provide 1:1 support to the young person in the community, enabling her to access social activities and engage with her community.
- Assist with personal care, including feeding, toileting, and bathing.
- Support the young person in making decisions about her daily life, including what she wants to do and eat.
- Provide seizure management and respond to epilepsy episodes.
- Work collaboratively with other carers to ensure the young person's needs are met.
- Experience of working with profoundly disabled adults.
- Relevant qualifications and training, including epilepsy training and administration of Buccal Midazolam.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work varied hours, including weekends.
