About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and adolescents, promoting their health and well-being, and supporting their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Display excellent analytical ability and sound decision-making in changing clinical situations.
  • Work effectively as a team member, promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships.
  • Ensure confidentiality of information regarding children and families, promoting and maintaining good and effective communication with patients, relatives, and visitors.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • A Paediatric Nursing Degree.
