Working Hours:
40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) This position is being advertised on behalf of our client, a leading facilities management provider.
Established in 1985, our client has evolved into one of the largest privately owned, integrated facilities management companies globally.
Role Overview:
To perform maintenance on Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, and Access Control Systems, collaborating within the Fire and Security team while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Duties:
- The primary responsibility of this role is to execute technical repairs and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). You will ensure that all technical documentation and compliance records are meticulously maintained and current at all times.
- All tasks must be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, while strictly following the company's Health and Safety protocols.
- You should be adept at working across multiple sites with minimal supervision and possess the ability to communicate effectively with On-Site Managers. A qualification in City and Guilds electrical is required.
- This role presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their careers in a multi-site setting where delivering service excellence is paramount.
- A proactive, adaptable, and hands-on approach to work is essential.
- Candidates must hold a full and valid driving license and be willing to travel daily, including occasional overnight stays.
- While having FIA 1 & 5 certifications is preferred, it is not mandatory. Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
- Proficiency in CCTV IP/analogue Systems
- Experience with Fire Alarm Systems
- Computer Literacy
