About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roadside Rescue Technician to join our team at The AA. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for providing expert vehicle repair and recovery services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide prompt, professional assistance to customers in need of vehicle repair or recovery.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle damage and develop effective repair plans to get customers back on the road quickly and safely.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair complex vehicle issues.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and efficient resolution of customer issues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest vehicle technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
  • NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience.
  • A full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
