Maintenance Electrician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at a major FMCG group in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to work on modern automated plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide breakdown and preventative maintenance on automated production lines
  2. Carry out fault finding activities on large automated machinery incorporating PLC, HMI, material handling, conveyors, packaging machines, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  3. TPM/PPM in high volume automated production facilities
  4. Adhere to strict working practices and safety practices
  5. Continuous improvements process to production equipment and machines
  6. Support future capital equipment investment planning, installation, and commissioning

Requirements:

  1. Time served/apprentice trained with Electrical or Mechatronics qualification and training – C&G / BTEC / NVQ / 18th Edition
  2. Knowledge of automation machinery incorporating material handling, conveyors, packaging equipment
  3. Experience of 3 phase electrical, PLC/HMI fault finding, motors, pneumatics/hydraulics
  4. Familiar with planned maintenance & TPM routines
