Electrical Shift Team Leader Opportunity

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Team Leader to join our team in Stocksbridge. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of engineers and maintaining and troubleshooting various industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure seamless operations
  2. Maintain and troubleshoot industrial systems, including hydraulic systems, pumps, drives, gearboxes, and other equipment
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure efficient operations
  4. Methodically fault find and rectify issues to their root cause
  5. Operate within permit systems and prioritize tasks based on resource availability
Requirements:
  1. A recognized engineering apprenticeship (preferably HNC but minimum ONC level or equivalent)
  2. Extensive knowledge and experience in plant engineering and industrial systems
  3. Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to fault finding
  4. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  5. Experience or knowledge of working under permit systems
  6. Customer-focused attitude with a keen understanding of prioritization
