Job Description

Role: Building Services Manager

Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £60 - £65k + car allowance

Texo Recruitment is delighted to represent a well-established privately owned construction group renowned for excellence in construction, house building, and civil engineering.

We are seeking a Building Services Manager to play a crucial role in ensuring that all Pre-Construction tendering reviews are carried out on all systems/designs.

The ideal candidate will oversee the coordinated installation on site to ensure a smooth operation and maintenance of buildings and their services during the building's lifespan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review PCI services information and provide guidance to the team
  • Give utility programme advice to the planner
  • Advising the design team on the coordination of services within the overall building design
  • Reviewing prices for services work, including all qualifications, and provide recommendations
  • Prepare and manage utilities trackers for all new main services as well as all site temporary services
  • Carry out weekly site inspections on larger projects and produce a QA report to the site team
  • Support with any issues

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a solution-focused approach to overcoming site issues with regards to M&E clashes, etc. to move the project forward.

On larger projects, the candidate will agree commissioning programmes and witness all commissioning.
