Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic General Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Stir. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting in the preparation of high-quality meals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver a fantastic dining experience for students and staff
  • Operate tills and handle customer transactions with ease
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including food hygiene and health and safety policies
Requirements

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A friendly and adaptable personality, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Previous catering experience
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Food hygiene level 2 (desirable, but full training will be provided)
What We Offer

  • A Monday to Friday working pattern, with no late nights or weekends
  • 15 hours of work per week, with 38 working weeks per year based around term time
