**Job Title:** Mechanical Maintenance Manager
**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Manager to lead the Mechanical and Civil Engineering departments at Service Care Solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Department Leadership:** Oversee the leadership of the Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering departments, consisting of approximately 25 individuals and contractors.
- **Maintenance Strategy:** Develop and implement the Mechanical Engineering Strategy and maintenance plan, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- **Reliability Improvement:** Review maintenance data to drive reliability improvements and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), identifying areas for optimization.
- **Maintenance Planning:** Organize and manage all planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring timely completion and minimal downtime.
- **Continuous Improvement:** Identify and manage continuous improvement (CI) projects across the department, driving process enhancements and cost savings.
- **Health, Safety, and Environment:** Support the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Team to maintain a safe operating culture within the department.
- **Capital Expenditure:** Manage and drive capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational excellence projects across the department and site, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- **Collaboration:** Liaise with production operations, senior management, and suppliers to improve processes and increase machine reliability and performance.
- **Performance Management:** Identify and manage performance management and training requirements of the team, ensuring development and growth.
**Requirements:**
- **Background:** Ideal candidate will have an apprentice-trained or qualified background in a practical Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance discipline, with a minimum of HNC level.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 10 years' experience within an industrial manufacturing environment in a Mechanical Engineering role, with at least 5 years at a Supervisory/Management level.
- **Skills:** Excellent knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, strong leadership and communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
