Position Overview:

This role is primarily field-based, requiring visits to client residences to evaluate the necessary work for installing a new boiler, along with associated controls and materials, or to conduct a comprehensive heating survey for the installation of a complete wet central heating system. This includes creating detailed scale drawings of boiler and radiator placements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of installation quality and craftsmanship from team members.
  • Evaluate client needs regarding the type of boiler/system to be installed, considering factors such as water mains pressure and gas supply.
  • Communicate effectively and promptly with clients, customers, employees, and subcontractors, ensuring all inquiries are addressed efficiently.
  • Clearly explain to clients the necessary work, including any modifications to the property or removal of fixtures.
  • Complete job administration on-site, submitting a comprehensive survey form to the installation office, detailing the materials needed for the project.
  • Ensure the safety of both employees and customers is prioritized and upheld at all times.
  • Conduct quality control checks to guarantee work meets the standards expected by clients.
  • Support the complaints team in resolving client issues within established timeframes, providing feedback to relevant personnel on any identified concerns.
  • Assist the management team as needed, along with fulfilling any other reasonable managerial requests.
