Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading automotive manufacturing company in Witney, as they seek an electrical engineer to join their growing team.

This role would be particularly suited to candidates from a plant engineering background, ex-forces, HGV or similar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wire components on bespoke vehicles.
  • Assemble electrical/pneumatic components onto bespoke panels.
  • Test all work to a set standard.
  • Diagnose faults.
  • Occasional site work may be required as per business needs.
Requirements
  • Candidates should ideally have experience with vehicle electrics, but any electrical background may be considered.
  • Ability to use a wide range of electrical hand tools (crimpers, soldering Iron, wire strippers etc.).
  • Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools (drills, grinders, riveting etc.).
  • Interpretation of electrical schematics.
  • Basic soldering skills.
  • Ability to maintain a satisfactory level of tidiness.
  • Basic level of H&S understanding.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Driving licence/car.
  • Highly Desirable Skills
  • Experience in pneumatics.
  • Electrical CAD experience.
Working Hours and Salary

40 hours per week, Mon-Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Salary c£30k + overtime
