Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with regulatory bodies as necessary and participate in feedback sessions following evaluations.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks, including the ability to identify, assess, plan, deliver, monitor, and evaluate care outcomes.
  • Oversee the management and execution of services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Supervise individual children's homes as well as the overall operations of multiple facilities.
  • Collaborate with Registered Managers and Deputy Managers to monitor staff development and identify training requirements.
  • Maintain personal professional development and assess the effectiveness of training provided to staff.
  • Establish and enhance care provisions through collaboration with existing partners and the development of new partnerships.
  • Ensure that each home implements a continuous improvement and development strategy that is regularly monitored and evaluated.
  • Be accountable for the overall welfare and growth of all children and staff within the services.
  • Conduct regular visits to the homes to foster meaningful relationships and gain in-depth knowledge of each child's care and educational plans.
  • Demonstrate experience in social care, particularly within a registered children's home environment.
  • Understand best practices in addressing the needs of children in care and fulfill local authority care planning responsibilities.
  • Possess a valid UK Driving License.
  • Have a minimum of two years' experience in roles that involve supervising and managing staff within children's services.

This position is essential for maintaining high standards of care and ensuring the well-being of children in our services.
