Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial & Regulatory Director to lead the commercial and regulatory scopes for a portfolio of HVDC development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize business cases and contracting strategies for HVDC projects
* Foster productive relationships with regulators to protect project progress and business case
* Lead the Final Project Assessment (FPA) process in the UK and equivalent processes in connecting countries
* Limit disallowed costs through effective commercial strategies
* Support positive Final Investment Decision in large-scale HVDC projects
* Support procurement activities with strategic commercial input and regulatory guidance
* Maintain ongoing alignment with internal and external teams over the life of the project

Requirements:

* Track record of commercial expertise and regulatory engagement in large-scale infrastructure projects
* Action-oriented and willing to tackle problems to deliver results
* Experience in managing senior and junior stakeholders
* Excellent communication and project/programme management skills
* Bachelors or Masters Degree in economics, law, science, engineering or similar
